LIDIA VAZQUEZ

My name is Lidia Fernanda Vazquez. I am a human with a lot of intellectual curiosity and overall passion for life. My major interest are art, and math & science. STEAM in general has so many fascinating divisions. My objective in life is to learn, to study, to be a scholar if you must, as well as leave a positive mark on this world. My major priorities apart from my education are my family, and the community. My family is filled with extremely persevering individuals that are my constant motivation and inspiration to thrive and flourish and as well teach me that failure is just part of succeeding and learning. The community has always been very important to me, since a very young age High Tech introduced to me the importance of enriching and involving the community.

 

I am currently participating In an outdoor leadership program. In which we go and explore the breathtaking beauties that this world has to offer. We have about 5 big trips annually. Backpacking has allowed me to grow as an individual in the sense of developing a  better sense of enjoying the present.

An additional activity which I part take in is my church's Youth Group. I am a Youth Group leader and it's just an incredible experience that allows me to grow in my faith and also influence my peers to get closer to god.
