draw by scale and , we used our photography  skills to capture  the  photograph that we then put to scale to be able   draw

and, paint. We were able to play around with our art piece using nature for example creating a heart out  of pedals or rocks.

this project helped us explore a new method of art. I loved and enjoyed this project and experience.

My artist statement

The project With my own two hands is about having our hands as our muse, to express yourself and demonstrate what represents us, using art and words.to try to be messy to fit our words with our paintings.

And our paintings were divided in four little squares, the first one would me the symmetrical twin of the fourth one ,and the two in the middle  are independent. In my painting I used the symmetrically  and formed to hands and there's powers or magic coming out of them creating a heart and in the drawing if you look closely ,it says independent ,artistic, creative all the qualities I own. In the second page I drew a peace sign a fist and the yin yang sign, representing I will fight, which represents the fist, for peace on earth whether there good or bad male or female, which represents the peace sign and the yin yang. In the third page , there's two hands with tree branches and tree vines, that represents, my roots my family my country, that really matters to me.
