THE PROJECT PURPOSE
The purpose of this project is to create a small vignette of our life, just a small slice, a moment that was part of creating a characteristic of who you are as a person. We need it to be able to write it, breaking the rules of grammar instead of writing it traditionally, using purpose fully one word sentences or even one word paragraphs. Moreover, We need it to express ourselves and draw our reader into our writing personification,idioms among other figurative language . to use those kind of sentence to add rich of description in our writing. In addition, we crated a art piece to go with the vignette ,an art piece that would look as a computer app . Finally, we had a vivid life experience while creating this mini project , bad economically
ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS
" How have your family and community shaped who you becoming, How have your family and community shaped who you are ?
Well, my family have really made a strong shape into how I am. To illustrate my background better, I need to explain that
my parents had to surpass many obstacles to be where they are right now. When I was five months old my father had cancer
for the first time and was treated in Mexico. Later, when I was two years old my father cancer came again and to save his life
we came and move to live in the US. This part of my life -even though I was very young- changes my life because in Mexico I
left all my family and my way of living. My life changed dramatically since I just to most of the time with my grandparents and
gather with my cousin to be by myself with my parents only. This experience made me strong and taught me how to adapt in
different circumstances and, to value life. I come from a strong and caring family where each member of it cares of the other
.
PROCESS
The process of this project was, first, we wrote characteristics that we had about a own little story of our life , that's when the brain storming began. Then, we wrote a rough draft and learned more about figurative language to be able to enhance our writings .After a lot of critique's and rewriting we were able to have a great vignette. Finally, we made our art work to go with it. and finish our project.

To create a vignette of a little piece of your life that helped shape how you are.
PROJECT REFLECTION
This project was really fun for me because I discovered that writing is another form of art for me, a way to let all my ideas and thoughts on paper. I was really exited of using writing, as another medium of art, and breaking the grammar rules and forming a story ,a feeling ,making your reader react, and produce emotions. It took a lot of editing to be able to create the writing piece and the drawing, also thanks to lot of drafts and good critiques helped me create a final piece.
The characteristic I chose was imaginative , A quick summary of my vignette is that when , I was small and scared of the dark and then my aunt told me to just imagine and so that opened so many possibility's, two words can create a characteristic that creates you.
My favorite part of this project was designing the app design, and redrawing it and changing some things. The thing in this project that I most struggled with is editing my writing with a fresh mind over and over again. It was difficult but I overcame it with patience.

PROJECT PURPOSE
The purpose of this project is to create a poem of someone you have a deep connection with and, also a stamp using symbolism to create the composition. to describe what that person represents to you. For the humanities section of this project we had to create a poem ,using figurative language as our resource to be able to create this piece.
ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS
"How does perspective play a role in interoperating ,understanding and creating symbolism? What impact does my writing have on others". You need to make the reader have a perspective of what you are trying to explain and write and ,want to leave the reader with. There can be a strong impact on our writing with others by causing emotions and reactions to our readers and really having a voice in our writing and meaning something.
PROCESS
The process of this project was. First, we learned about poetry and a little more in depth on figurative language. Then, we made a packet which we could have written just stories or get strait to poetry. Then after, we had our poem we wrote it in the computer and critique, it a lot of times. And finally finished the poem.
PRODUCT
The product is to create a poem representing someone we have a connection with and want to write about that person.
REFLECTION
This project was fun and let me explore a different method of writing, poetry .First I thought poetry had to always rhyme but I discovered that it didn't, need to rhyme to ,become a poem .That opened so many possibilities, I began quickly to jot down my ideas .I really enjoyed this mini project because I absolutely fell in love with poetry. It was fun and easy for me ,it was just another form for me of art . especially when I was writing about Frida Kahlo which inspired me. My poem was about Frida khalo and how unique she was and strong and how she expressed her self with her paintings and how she used symbolism throughout her paintings to have meaning . She inspires me as an artist not a person .So my poem was mostly of the way and how she was an artist.
